Effective date: 1st September 2025
1. Purpose and Scope
These Terms govern the auto-renewable subscriptions offered within the TWOP app for Android via Google Play Billing (the “Plans”). They apply in addition to the general Terms of Use of TWOP.
2. Description of the Plans
The Plans may include, for example: (i) ad-free experience, (ii) access to premium features (e.g., included “Where/When” unlocks, expanded limits, creator tools), (iii) discovery benefits.
The name of the Plan, its price and frequency (weekly/monthly/yearly) are displayed before purchasing on the subscription screen (paywall) and in the Google Play confirmation. Availability may vary by country or version of the app.
3. Price, Taxes and Changes
Prices are displayed in the local currency and include taxes where applicable. We may update the price or content of the Plan. Google Play will notify you of price changes; if you do not agree, you can cancel before the next renewal.
4. Auto-Renewal and Charges
Subscriptions are auto-renewable. Unless cancelled, Google Play will charge the fee for the next period at the beginning of the new cycle (check the details in your account). To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel in advance (recommended: at least 24 hours before).
Billing is done to the payment method associated with your Google Play account.
5. Free Trials and Introductory Offers
When there is a free trial or introductory offer, you will see its duration and terms before confirming. If you do not cancel in time, the Plan converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged the standard price at the end of the trial. The unused portion of the trial may be lost upon acquiring a Plan.
6. How to Manage or Cancel Your Subscription (required for Play)
On your Android device: Play Store → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Or from your account on the Google Play web (Subscriptions).
Upon cancellation, you will maintain access until the end of the already paid period. You can reactivate at any time.
7. Payment Retry, Grace Period and Account Hold
If a payment fails, Google Play may apply a grace period or place the subscription on “account hold” until you update the payment method. If unresolved, the subscription may be cancelled automatically.
8. Refunds
In-app purchases on Android are governed by the Google Play refund policies. Any request is processed through Google. TWOP may evaluate exceptional refunds according to applicable law and Google policies, but does not guarantee returns outside of this framework.
9. Restore Access on Another Device
If you change devices or reinstall, log in with the same Google Play account and the app will recognise your active subscription. In the app settings, you can use “Restore purchases” if we offer it.
10. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Subscriptions are digital content/service. By confirming the purchase, you consent to the immediate execution of the service and acknowledge that, once started, you may lose the legal right of withdrawal, without prejudice to the Google Play refund mechanisms and mandatory regulations.
11. Compatibility with “Family” (Family Library)
Unless Google states otherwise, subscriptions are not shared through Family Library.
12. Requirements and Limitations
Requires (i) a compatible Android device, (ii) internet connection, and (iii) a valid Google Play account. TWOP may suspend or terminate access to the Plan for breach (e.g., fraud or violation of Community Guidelines). Certain features may vary by region or version.
13. Changes to the Plans or these Terms
We may update Plans or Terms (e.g., due to legal or service changes). We will notify you with reasonable notice if the change is substantial. Continued use after the effective date implies acceptance.
14. Support
Help and inquiries regarding subscriptions: legal@twop.app.
For charges/refunds/cancellations, use the Google Play channels of your account.
15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Spanish law applies and, where applicable, mandatory rules of your country of residence. Jurisdiction: courts of your residence as a consumer or those legally competent.
